December 9, 2004 - New:  I have added a new set of links to my recommended links page to sites that appear to be good resources (below), some new testimonials for Telephone Counseling and two Testimonials for the Joy2MeU Journal.  And I wanted to bring to the forefront some articles that I have written in the past for the Holiday Season. One of them is from my series on the Serenity Prayer: Intellectual Discernment - "have to" and the Holiday Season; while the other is one that I wrote in 1996 like the Thanksgiving article I called attention to below.  It is entitled Happy Holidays, Sad Holidays - and I have decided to include a quote from it here.
"Whatever your celebration: Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Kwanzaa, New Years, etc. let it be about the new beginning; the rededication to: the recommitment to: the rebirth of; life.Ý But most of all, let it be about Love by first of all Loving yourself enough to tell the critical parent voice in your head to shut up with all the comparisons and shame and judgment."

November 22, 2004 - New:  I have added the latest batch of touching Testimonials - and wanted to call attention to a seasonal article.  Gratitude is a major tool in recovery - owning our power to choose to focus on the positive instead of allowing the disease to cause us to focus on the negative.  Here is a Thanksgiving Column that I wrote 8 years ago.  I also forgot to mention here last month that I had some new regional web sites to the Finding CoDA meetings page.

November 7, 2004 - New:  An article originally published on suite 101 added as page on this site: Taking self worth out of the equation in Romantic Relationships, and a new page added to the Joy2MeU Journal.
News:  I just recieved a new version of my bumper sticker.  I will mail one of these new bumper stickers to anyone who has bought my book or tape set, is a Journal subscriber, a phone counseling client, or has made a donation to the cause, if they will send me a self addressed, stamped #10 business type envelope.  I am also going to include a bumper sticker in any orders for 2 or more book and/or tape sets through the Holiday season for anyone who wants to give my book or tapes as a Christmas present.  See Special Offers page.
